FA Cup holders Arsenal started as hot favorites against second division underdogs West Ham in the 1980 FA Cup Final at Wembley.
Arsenal was beaten by a goal scored after just 13 minutes from West Ham’s Trevor Brooking who scored with a rare header from close range.
All the Hammers players were heroes for overcoming the firm favorites and Paul Allen became the youngest player ever to feature in an FA Cup Final at the age of just 17.
